winter storage?

I'm a new rider and I have a Gsxr-600 07 I plan on keeping it in my garage over the winter I live in wisconsin. Is there anything i need to do to the bike before storage, chain, fluids, anything like that or just leave it?

Fuel stabilizer, clean and lube the chain, check tire pressures, battery tender. I like to do an oil change before storing mine so it's ready next year. It's also a good idea to set the bike up so you can rotate the tires throughout the winter or get them off the ground on some stands. I made the mistake of leaving my front tire stationary one winter and come spring time the tire was cupping and I had to replace it.
