My Icon helmet dropped 2 and a half feet off the back seat of the bike and both pivot kits and the screen broke. I was so pissed that it would break so easy. When I contacted Icon about it they couldn't care less. My husband and I have been in a bad wreck with no gear and are lucky to be alive.  We are trusting our lives to Icon.   I contacted Icon to let them know how disappointed I was,  and concerned, considering we have invested over $1000 in Icon gear. They didn't even apologize on behalf of their product. Furthermore, they couldn't seem to understand why I was so upset.  They said "well you dropped it and Icon doesn't guarantee anything for that." So what if it had dropped two and a half feet . . .  with my head in it . . . at 60 mph? I'll tell you: I'm screwed! Unless you are Jason Britton, Icon doesn't give a S**T!!

That's unfortunate, but helmets are designed to absorb impacts and sacrifice their parts instead of yours.

Two years ago I purchased an Icon Helmet and never again the paint has chips in it and the snaps for inside padding broke and rubber molding around bottom of helmet came off with in the first 2 months it is a very expensive product but cheaply manufactured I have helmets 10 years old with less wear and will never recommend or buy this product again.

Icon is complete CRAP.  I'm talking ALL their gear, not just helmets.  My boots may as well have exploded off of my feet when I wrecked.  They just charge too much for junk gear that is only there for the flashy fashion, not function.  Buy A-Stars, save your skin, and ride safely.
