Park your bike and never ride it then they both last forever. JK, but seriously, they're all metal. It depends on your riding style and how well you maintain your motorcycle. If you are a stunter or racer then obviously you're gonna go through parts faster than if you were just a sunday rider. The harder you ride then the faster your parts will get worn and need replacing.
What I'm sayin' is that 99% of the parts on your bike are going to last quite a long time if you take care of them. But just asking what sprocket is right for you is pretty vague and asking the difference between an aftermarket sprocket and a metal one while misspelling the manufacturers name implies to me that you are a fairly new rider as well.
IMO if you want to add a little bling while getting a stronger sprocket then I would go with a SuperSprox sprocket. Vortex has a larger selection of designs but SuperSprox has a lifetime guarantee. So now hopefully you can weigh your options a little better and find exactly what you're looking for.
