Track Days

Me and a decent sized group of friends are looking towards doing some track days this summer all around Texas. Some of us have been before but most of us haven't as I'm sure most of the readers haven't been to track days either. It might be a common thing and part of the job for you guys but alot of readers don't even know the first thing about what getting ready for a track day is like. Could you guys do an article on something like that? Something like gear requirements and what good gear is, necessary precautions to prep your bike, what to expect from track officials when you get there as far as different skill levels, rules, and tips on what extra stuff you could bring to make your trip there and home more convenient like extra fuel, tires, oil, or what have you.
