I just bought a 08 Gsxr 600 and winter is here. I have been looking for a good leather jacket and I came across the Icon Victory Suzuki jacket. I really like it would match my bike but im worried is a white leather jacket hard to keep clean. People tell yes and no. I think if I take it to a dry cleaner once a month and clean it everytime I get done riding it will be fine. So can anyone help me that has or had a white leather jacket on tips if I should get it or not thanks

White will get filthy, especially in the rain or any bad weather. I wore my A-star white leather jacket in the rain and it's a mess. I'd go for a warm textile jacket like Cortech or First Gear, then save up for the cool leather jacket that you can wear on special occasions or nice weather. For everyday riding (commuting) just get something that's functional!

Where do you live? If you're in FL or SoCal then you would be fine with the leather jacket, just don't wear it when it's wet outside or the spray will ruin it and you'll never get it clean again. Anywhere else I'd follow the above advice and go with a more versatile textile jacket—they don't look as cool usually, but they're cheaper and you can wash them!

I find layering up in a textile keeps the cold out pretty good.
