When I first saw the name I didn't know how to pronounce it either. I didn't know until I watched this video on Dirt Rider's site. How To Pronounce "Akrapovic"
It's funny how Pete keeps getting interrupted, you can tell his patience is wearing thin. The guy interrupting him is Primoz, former Schoolmaster and now Head of Public Relations at Akrapovic.

yeah, i have that exhaust system and i knew how to say it but ak-ra-poh-vic is easier to say in a conversation with normal riders

Just don't hang out with Primoz, he will interrupt you every 5 seconds.

lol, yeah that was funny. atleast the guy took it pretty well and made a joke about it.
I've been meaning to ask you guys some questions about stuff like that anyways, like how to pronounce the brand names SIDI, SPIDI, and MARCHESINI.

Sidi = city or see-dee...both work.
Spidi = Spee-dee
Marchesini = marcha-see-knee

cool, i was right on with all of those but i just needed proof on Marchesini. I have a friend who insists it's mar-chez-knee no matter how much we call him a retard. but he also says his favorite wine is peanut gregrio so we make sure he wears his helmet any time he moves at a pace faster than a walk

I believe show-e is the correct pronunciation.
