I just had to join to say thanks for posting the article on how to do a stoppie by Matt Blankstrom! I've been trying to do it for over a year now and just gave up! A friend of mine has the same bike as i do, a 600 hurricane, and he said the only way he could get his to do it was to lower the front about two inches. I just did my first clutch wheelie four days ago and almost have them down pretty good now...so now i decided to try Stoppies and did exactly what Matt said and it worked like a charm. Last year i was trying to do the baby Stoppies because i wasn't sure if i would flip it over or not, but you do have to approach fast and apply the 80% brake hard that he suggests. The back went off to the side a little one time...but i recovered, that was a good learning experience also. This reminds me of the high i got when i first got my knee down. Thanks again. Later
