it's crazy how many mild customs there are out there, but what about the over the top stuff that makes you ask..."why?"
anybody seen that sort of stuff lately, or do you think those days are over?
you know, 360 rear with a gold plated frame and 4-foot stretch.
they seem to be a rare breed anymore.

i still see them around town... but for some reason these people arent pushing to get them noticed. its like they want to keep their customs a secret. i dont get it.

I'm finishing up my own build right now.  Been keeping it under wraps for the past year, but almost done.  Everything has been done by me.  Inspired by Nick Anglada's build of the Boz Brother's R1 of year's past.  Just took the whole two-sided theme to another level painting the frame and swingarm all together.

Disassembly, sandblast/prep, Prime/Paint/Airbrush. Finishing painting the wheels then will be done!

***NOTE.  I am not a profesional painter***  This is the first paint/airbrush project I've EVER DONE.  So far so good, but some people still call me crazy.  600 man hours and counting.

Yeah Yeah....people say "Why Paint?!"  Because I'm sick of stretched/slammed/chromed/SAME 'OLE bikes.  Time for some real artistry with this one.

Going to approach SSB Editors to put in after my photo shoot coming up this month.

Here are some recent photos.  Let me know what you think!

David

I agree there are more mild rides being built. I find that here in Alaska they not only want to look good, they like to ride. The less time cleaning the more time to ride. Thats what my customers are telling me. I've posted a couple of my customers mild builds.
