Well this is my first time on the site and people seem to know their stuff so i wanted some opinions. I want a bike bad. I have riden a few and I am liking the yamaha r6 but my friends say that it might be to wide or something. I have grown up riding dirt bikes and quads so I know how to ride just not sure what to ride on. Any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks

what up. i have an 07 r6 and its not wide at all.. the only thing thats wide it the gas tank because it flares out at the top and the only thing that really gets in the way of is hopping up on the tank. but the r6 is great. i also like the gsxr's. very good bikes to start out on.

Im not sure if SSB does this but in the back of motorcyclist it has a list of all sportbikes with heights and weights, wheelbases etc etc.  Not sure how often they put it in there but ive seen it a few times.
