If you're looking for an older bike that you don't see every day, this is the one.
I'm looking for $2850 obo, so please send me a private message if you'd like to make me an offer.  I'm getting rid of it because I need money to fund other projects.  If you buy it for at least $2700, I'll throw in an oil change and put a new chain on it too.  I'm located in Beach Park, IL.  If you want to know my bottom dollar I'll take on it, give me a call or send me a message.  I motivated to sell! Here's the info/pics:
________________________________________________________________________________

This 1982 Honda CB900F features lower and sportier handle bars, spike bar ends, Vance & Hines 4-2-1 exhaust (loud!), and CBR600F3 swing arm, rims and brakes. (From what I'm told, this bike handles and stops WAY better than a stock CB900F!) The bike also has smoked flush mount turn signals, a Keihin carburetor, and a new battery when I bought it (spring 2009). The guy who owned this bike really invested some money into it.  I was told he spent around 3k on making it what it is today, on top of what he paid for it in the first place. This bike needs nothing to get out on the streets and ride, but could maybe use a chain and someeasy seat repair work (the seams have come apart in a few places, but it's no big deal and would be an easy fix--it's just the original seat and it just has normal wear for it's age. (As you can see from the pictures, it's
hardly noticeable.)  As far as I know, the bike has never been dropped--at least when I owned it.  The bike steers perfectly straight and has no wobble either.

I'm not really a racer, but this thing can really get up and go for a bike it's age, and it'll even keep up some of the more modern 600cc sport bikes...but it's cooler in my opinion because no one has one!  People always make comments when I'm stopped at a gas station! Everything mechanically and electronically on this bike is in GREAT condition with only 23,xxx miles on it, and it's really got the classic streetfighter look to it. This bike was well taken care of...oil changes were done regularly (with part synthetic oil), and the chain was always kept lubed. The tires only had about 150 miles on it when I got it, and now they have about 3000, but the tires are highly durable Shinko tires that are designed to last about 8000 miles. I'm not what you would call a "wild"
rider, so they have plenty of tread left on them. The brakes and chain were also new when I bought it.
I also may be able to provide more pictures if requested.  Thanks!

Man that bike is bad, if only you were closer! I can see it now, built motor, some boost, a little chrome, a nice stretch and single digit ETs at the strip.

Nice bike, GL with the sale.

Well, I'm dropping the price again!  $2200 FIRM!  The price is nice and low, so if you live far away, you can afford shipping!

have you tried craigslist and ebay? make a video and post it on youtube and if it sounds nice and runs well and people can see that then I'm sure lots of people would love to have a classic bike like that and would pay atleast the $2850. But if you do make a video, I would take the baffle out of the exhaust first.
