I am possibly looking into gettin a 07 Kawasaki ZZR 600. I have been looking around for parts cuz I am eventually wanting it lowered, stretched, and all that good crap. I want to make it into a show bike. I can't find hardly nothing for the it. I look in Super StreetBike and look at the advertisers and go on there websites and I can't even find a lowering kit for this bike. Any suggestions for me or should look into getting a different and more of a parts friendly bike. Thanx and later.

I have a 2007 ZZR600.  It is exactly the same as the 2001-2003/04 Kawasaki ZX6R.

yep it's the same. and a damn good bike too i might add. i had one for a year and loved it. it's the 636cc motor intro'd in 2002, not '01.

Though you may not find many parts for the zzr600, it is the same bike as the 00-02 zx6r.  The only difference that I know of is different paint and graphics.  It may also be slightly detuned, but it is still a hell of a ride with the rpms up.  Any parts you find for the 00-02 zx6r should fit exactly.  By the way, I have that exact bike and love it.  The first thing I would recomend would be a double bubble windshield.  It really improves the quality of the ride by keeping the wind off your helmet.

The service manual states that it is the same model as the 00-02 zx6r model

I got a 07 zzr600. Everything is stock on the bike. Im wantin to put a viper exhaust on it just to make it sound a little better than stock sound.

Do I really need to get it rejetted if i was to just slap on a bolt on?

When it comes to carbureted bikes I've been seein everyone talk of rejettin like its a must if you change the exhaust but im thinkin thats for full exhaust systems.

My club president says theres no need if thats all i was to change.  Anybody got some info on the matter?

hi,i own a zzr600 e5 streetfighter, and i changed my exhaust from the twin pipe to a single complete remus inovation full system. Then i found out i had a flat spot at 8 thousand revs, and yep you guessed it!the exhaust!I then went and i re-jetted the carbs with a stage 1 kit £107,and BOY DOES IT SHIFT!!Also talkin from experience some parts do fit from zx6r 00-02 but not a great deal.No engine or many frame parts, although they are very simular they can be fitted with a bit of help.
