I have been lookin at some of the posts on this site and realizedthat i forgot what my buddy had told me.
His name is james hes a recruiter for my county/area wher i live.he is also the head of his unit. he told me Last year the military was passing a law makin it a requirement to take your motorcycle safety course before you get on a motorcycle. At the end of his the meeting/conference there was a 4 star general who got up told everyone in that room that more men and women from the military died last year in motorcycle accidents then there were deaths in iraq and afganisthan combined. these are the men an women protectin the country,be careful the advice u give. You DO NOT WANT TO PUT AN 18-19 YR OLD KID ON A 750 OR A 1000.PLEASE make sure you understand that this person may not have as much experience/may not even have ever ridin a crotch rocket, yet alone a dirt bike. I had a freind of mine killed last year.He was back on leave,he was back from Iraqfor two weeks.he went out and purchased a 750 with his bonus money.it wasn't a week and he killed himself.rode a wheelie into the back of an suv that pulled out in front of him. I live on 1 of the most danderous stretches of highway in the U.S.A.Not because its just dangerous, but because the older/retired people here just cant see over the F"""en steering wheel.I've been run off the road been cut off and aggravated to the point of taking off my helmet and putting my head in there window at the next stop light just to get my point across. All I can tell them is "what if I was your son ,YOU almost killed me." I hope you all read this.we dont need any more dead military vets, especially when they went and served for at 6 months in that desert.kids with AK"S rite outside your fence shooting in the air just cause they can. Please be careful about the comment you make and to who your telling it to.it might just be the last advice that kid heres.
