Welcome to Project Badass, our 1125CR Buell build that's going to be nuts. To see the full details of Part I you'll want to check out the Dec issue in stores shortly, but to wet your whistle I'll be highlighting the build here in the forums.

Part I brings some dyno time followed by a Jardine RT5 carbon-fiber slip-on and a matching ProTune 3.

Here are a few pics. If you have any suggestions on what you'd like to see us do with our CR let us know.

Stay tuned, the games have only just begun.

Some dyno time:

Off with the heavy stock pipe:

On with the Jardine:

Next was the ProTune3:

Remove the tank/filter/airbox:

Plug the connectors in, don't forget to ditch the air intake solenoid that closes the throttle bodies. We disconnected ours and got this solenoid from our local Buell dealer, it's a Buell racing part so you wont have any problems with FI lights.

We mounted ours under the seat and buttoned everything back up:

And here are a few beauty shots to show off the CR and the Jardine pipe. Stay tuned because we've got the dyno numbers in the December issue and even more insider info...

Yeah, that really sucks. I've been a long-time Buell fan. But at least Buell is going to let us finish the project! It will be a last of the breed...

I'll tell you what sucks.  I spent 12 months of my last deployment researching Buells.  I finally decided on the 1125CR.  I paid full price for it, and got a free 6 year warranty, only to find out that a couple of months after i get home they are selling the darn things for half price.  Not only does that piss me off because it drives my resale value to chit, but i hate that i wasted $6,000 of my hard earned deployment money, when i could have waited.  I feel defrauded.  DAMN H-D, and DAMN Buell for this.

On the other hand I love my 1125CR, and this project bike looks awesome.  Most likely i'll be going the exact same route.  I'm going to copy this to a T.
