I have a 2008 Gsxr 1000 and I need a new clutch. I have heard many riders say that they prefer Barnett over a stock. I have also had riders say that stock is better than a Barnett. Some advice would be great.

I'd say and get whichever is cheaper. that's what I'd do anyways.

Im with dave on this one, what ever is cheaper, dont forget before installing them soak them for atleast 15mins before you install them and change the oil after a few hundred miles, maybe 1000 at most.
Then I would bring the 1000 to one of Hurricane Alley's drag races! www.HARACES.com A lot of good people are there that will help you put the power to the ground and not into wrecking your clutch.

Stock is a much better street clutch than most of the aftermarket units. The company Factory makes the clutches for Suzuki.

barnett's are strong, but are harder to pull at the lever. then again that bike's a hydraulic clutch so it shouldn't matter.

Yea the barnett springs will have a stronger bite but the stock plates act better on the street.
