So i have a set of spike bolts on my 07 r6, and somehow they will not come out.  I tried to take them out but they just keep spinning inside.  The bolts themselves are not broken it is something on the inside and i dont know what it is.  What is this problem and how can i fix it.  Like i said, they dont get tighter and i cant loosen them theyre just stuck in there.  By the way they are from MCCOY Motorsports, i think they sixty1 something, just dont buy them they are really cheap and the chrome chipped and corroded right off.  Anyone have any suggestions for a real complete set of spikes that are durable and long lasting but look good?  thank you for any feed back.

i am guessing to just pull them straight out or to pull and twist to try to catch the threads. i bought mine at the local bike shop in dallas. idk what brand they are but they are actually a cheap gold plated so they don't chip but i am sure they will fade over time. I can only suggest that you try looking around for better ones at a local shop this time and be careful pulling the old ones out. good luck.

they have some good ideas too, are they metal or plastic pieces? do they have the rubber piec on their that is supposed to hold them tight? whatever you do to fix your problem post it here to let us know how it went and if anything happened to your ride in the process. good luck
