trouble shootin need help

got a 95 cbr 600. this dude put a kawasaki clutch cable on the bike. Do you think that it would hold or am i askin for trouble?.. also when im in third gear i got to really hit the throttle to get goin. im thinkin carb? Intake restriction? or Clutch. but heres the thing. if you hit throttle you would automatically here engine rpm and i dont. so maybe its not the air or clutch. can sumone help me out?

also, bikes been sitting for a while. do i just need to break it in? i got injection cleaner and hopin that will clear up maybe a fuel problem.
