While I was shopping around on e-bay and craigslist for a new bike I came across a custom 2002 GSXR750 SRAD. I ride in La/Tx and the bike was in Florida and I didn't want to pay that much to ship it so I had to let it go.

Now I have seen articles in SSB from a while ago explaining what the acronymns mean and all but never any about why the SRAD died off. From my understanding it was a more powerful more desirable machine. I have seen a few in stunt and show videos but not any that I can remember in the mag. I'm just wondering what the reason is for the death of one of the only specialty bike editions for the GSXR.
