This time last year my brother got hit then ran over by a drunk driver fleeing the scene. The driver had to get from the driver in a lawsuit and my mom has been taking care of him the it has gotten to the point where insurance wont pay for anything else. Im in the navy and can not help out. My mom is running out of options taking care of him is a constant job with his bed sores and how bad he is off. He has his own house so dissabillity is having to pay his own bills. So my family is in a really bad dilemma and my mom needs help? Where do i go for help for them? what do i do?

thanks anymore help would be greatly appreciated.. my family lives in texas dont know if there is any difference in how states policies are

That's really sad news, i'm sorry you and your family are going through this. Have you perhaps thought of asking your friends and family to set up a website or blog where people can donate money? You'd be surprised at how family and friends will rally together in a time of tragedy. You can advertise the blog/website by going on forums like these, or maybe even taking your story to the local news.
I wish I could be of more help.
