hello. i'm new to bikes. i'm looking at getting one that is. lol. anywho. i'm kinda a bigger guy, 6ft 3in, 215. what would you guys recomend for me to start out with? i'd kinda figured a 650 something, but what? any suggestions will be appreciated.

First, take the motorcycle safety course. I spent some time on dirt bikes as a kid and that course has still saved my butt more times than I can count. Once you know how comfortable on a bike you should have a better idea of what size you can handle. Being a bigger than ave. guy, you might want something with a little more power, but you don't want to over do it. The road can be a very unforgiving place.
