i have a 03 cbr 600rr and would like to know if anyone knows about the damage a loose connecting rod bearing could cause and if it can be replace without replacing an engine.i return in 3 months and would like to have it fixed so i can relieve this stress from being overseas.

yes it can be fixed without replacing the engine. Have a family member or someone close to you take your bike into a good shop. Have them fix it for you. And if you do not get it fixed then you might as well get ready to replace the engine. Also, do me a favor and don't relieve to much stress on the bike. We have had several people coming back from down range "relieve the stress from being overseas" and end up as a statistic in the stars and stripes. Two in my unit. Trust me brother take it easy at first. Just a concerned fellow soldier.

im currently having problems with my moded 94 gsxkatana 600 with a 95 750 motor regeared front and rear sprokets, 4 to 1 headers, old school yosh pipe with 4 layers pulled out all lowered 2in and cant find the correct forum.....one day, i wasnt even riding it hard, the bike started losing power and making more and more noise the over an hour period of time, when i shifted to first it was ok for about 5 seconds and the the bike seized and the tire locked up. when i tried to start the bike it just made a loud click which i found out was my motor trying to turn the motor over but wouldnt. when i drained my oil there wasnt anything in my oil. and now if i try to roll the bike in neutral it rolls around fine but if i put it in gear and pull in my clutch the bike wont roll freely and takes a few rocks back and forth to move but is still hard to move..almost impossible in the lowest gears.....any ideas?
