I've been thinking of ways to customize my 2006 R6 (Stock Blue). The plan right now is to black it out. I want my rearsets and my passenger pegs to be anodize black. Do you think it is worth it to invest in black anodized adjustable rearsets if I don't track my bike? Or would it be best just to get my stock rearsets and pegs anodized at a shop? Does anyone know about how much it would be to get them anodized?

If you are tall and need the extra room (not racing), adjustable rearsets are a good mod.  However, if it's just for the bling factor, you can get the OEM ones powder coated for less than $50.  That's much cheaper than $300-500 for adjustable ones that you probably don't need.

Anodizing is a little more money and you'll have to find a shop that does it.  I'd recommend powder coating since it's a little more durable.  It's easier to scratch the anodizing, so it might not look nice for long (depends on the rider).  Powder coating doesn't last forever either but I've had good results with it....

Hey, thanks for the input man. I'm about 5'9" so I really don't have a problem with the stock rearsets. It's more for astetics than anything. I guess I will just take your advice and roll with the powder coating.
