i'm about to install that xsb fan on my 929 because it runs way hot. that should solve the problem easy enough.

929s and 954s are notorious for running hot. I'd first make sure your fan switch works (the small plug on the front left side of your rad). After that I'd start with fresh Honda coolant and some WaterWetter. At that point, if you have a few bucks I'd contact XSBoost Performance for one of their remote fan switches. We just installed one on my 929 and should have the online article up shortly. It allows you to switch the fan on anytime you want, not at 220 when its already too late.
Another note, while I'm sure many get away with it. If you ride a Honda you really should use Honda coolant or an off brand that's Honda approved. The tolerances on Honda cooling systems are different than many bikes and using traditional coolant can result in leaks.

xsb fan switch is a great product! i use it on my 07 R6. its a must have for any bike.
