I started my bike today, and it went from running fine, to running like it had just got layed down, the idle is choppy and it shuts offf if I dont rev the choke,  could anyone help

oh yeah and its leaking fuel from where the fule valve is I believe

You need to get that thing to a shop ASAP. If you're lucky it might just be a choke adjustment. Not a bad repair. If there is more damage, you may be in for a pricier bill. One' thing's for sure. The longer you wait, the bigger the bill.

The symptoms your are describing sound like its getting too little fuel, and too much air. Otherwise known as a lean condition. Hence, the running better with the choke on. A shop tech will be able to diagnose better then anyone can here. Good luck.

get it to the shop soon. but if u r mechanically inclined you can do a few checks urself. if its been sitting your gas is probably gummy and ur stopcock is clogged. i assume u have a stopcock. check your lines for cracks, holes, any any kind of wear thats not normal. it might be as simple as bad gas to clogged lines or something as serious as fuel pump going bad. i do all my work myself because the "stealership" charges way too much for anything. even a quart of normal oil is $18 i can get mobil 1 synthetic for $16 at cycle gear.
