Daytona 1050

I read the industry buzz article in the jan edition, and saw the daytona 1050. now i cant get the bike out of my head, but nobody can tell me if the bike is gonna be made. i even asked triumph dealers and they have no answer for me. they cant confirm or denie, all they say is "i dont know." i tryed writing triumph to get an answer but never got anything back. if there is anyone who can clear this up for me i would like to be out of the dark on this one.

another question. if this bike isnt real, then im torn between the R1 and the GSXR1000. if i could get some owner feed back on these to help with my choice would be awsome.
