I've noticed throughout reading some of the posts on this site, that many females lower their bikes in order to be able to stand flat footed on the bike. Is this possible with all types of bikes? including Harley's and sportsters? or is this only possible with certain bikes? And what would be the price ranges?? Does all that depend on the work that needs to be done on the bike? If there is any one with any type of information or any advice about this procedure please help me out
It will be appreciated !

Certain types of bike are only able to be lowered an inch or 2. I have a Honda CBR 600F4i, I was only able to lower it one inch. I've heard of other bikes dropping 2.5 - 3 inches overall. To get mine lowered it cost 200 bucks (parts+labor.) A good investment for the confidence boost. I hope this helps.

most sport models can be lowered in the rear by switching out the rear linkage this is about a $100 to $160 dollars you can buy these links from epic power sports, vortex orbrocks performance....  as far as lowering the front you can bring the fork tubes up into the stem a little or you can purchase new springs and have them installed too. companys like race tech, eibach or progressive can provide you with this product... you could also use front end lowering straps not suggested.. hope the info helped

oh and for your cruiser models the front will work the same and the rear will consist of measuring the existing shock from center to center of the mounting holes and then purchasing a shorter shock...
