OIL WARNING LIGHT IS BLINKING, ANY TIPS.

I JUST GOT DONE PUTTING THIS 1999 R6 TOGETHER. BEFORE FIRING THE ENGINE, CHANGED AND TOPPED OFF OIL. THE BIKE FIRED RIGHT UP AFTER THREE TRYS TO START. BUT I NOITICED THE OIL LIGHT IS BLINKING ON THE GAUGES. NEVER TURNED OFF AFTER A FEW SECONDS. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY TIPS FOR COMMON PROBLEMS OR THE NEXT BEST THING TO CHECK AND HOW...... THANKS FOR THE HELP.....

CHECK CONNECTIONS FIRST THEN TRY LOSEING THE FILTER AND THEN START IT BUT ULL HAVE TO PUT A PAN UNDER IT THERES GOING TO BE OIL SPILLAGE BUT AFTER IT MAKES A MESS JUST AFTER IT HITS TURN IT OFF TIGHTIN THE FILTER AND SEE IF ITS STILL BLINKING AIR GETS TRAPED IN MY PUMP FRM LOSE OF PRIME SOMETIMES WHEN CHANGING THE OIL BUT I HAVE A KAWI JUST A GUSSIE HOPE ITS YOUR FIX. CHECK THE OIL PRESSURE SENSORE TOO.

start by not typing in all caps.
then make sure it's the oil light and not the FI light.
after that...hmm. not sure i only go with the basics bro.

try reading the manual to see what would cause it, there's a troubleshooting index in some of them nowadays
