I was riding my bike saturday and a red light came on and on my gauge it was flashing F1 or FI. But I am sure it was F1. I maybe wrong. What is wrong with it? or what do I need to do?

it's FI, meaning fuel injection.
do you have an aftermarket exhaust?
what's the year, make and model?
i'm not a mechanic, but there are some basic places to start...one would be checking the O2 sensor—the little "plug" screwed into your exhaust's mid-pipe.

<<<smartass

I'd say if u dont know take it in and get it checked

usually if u dont know what is going on most of the time you dont know how to fix the problem either...so before you rip it apart take it to a friend/mechanic who knows...last thing you wanna do is fiddle around and make it worse.

2006 Suz. gsxr600. I just have the stock exhaust on there. I don't like the black tape idea that would bug me even more.

It was pretty hot that day we went riding my man and i was both on the motorcycle. After awhile we stopped cooled off for about an hour. The light went off and never came back on.

what you should do is look in your owners manual and see what it says. if that doesnt answer your question you should talk to a mechanic at your local shop.if you still have any type of warranty on it then it should be covered by that.
