I been working on my 1986 RG 500 4 cylinder 2 stroker for long time now. Hospitalized a while back now it's building the ULTIMATE BENCH RACER !!!!!!!!
Got started long a go when i could race and stuff. Now I build. Gamma is 298 WET lb. TZ stuff every where, titainium, aluminium and plastic fasteners abound. 25 MM Ft axle, TZ USDs W/ Brembo Ft calipers, Rr TZ tiny Rr disc and TZ wheel, Marvic Ft, TZ glass, custom cut to fit the RGs rad and carb blisteres for carberater clearances. Added ajustable steering stop so you can race or street!36 MM Miks W/ custom made rotary valve covers, Crbon Fiber Magneto cover, custom built TZ USD fork addapters, hand built aluminmium fairing mounts seat mount, instrument arms and cluster - all hand built aluminium stuff, ajustable ignition box, Fox Rr shock, custom built 4340 gun drilled Rr axle, light weight dry cell battery W/ custom built alum removable cradel, hand fabricated dual starter jet cables off the TZ thumb controler!!!!!!!!!! ADN ON AND ON !!!!!!! Built in the day Alum brake fittings were allowed, not any more?! I guess???
Frame certified straight to specs W/ guseting, reinforcing and braced swing arm. TZ steering damper that is really light. With a set of custom built pipes and mufflers they wiegh 4 lb each with heat rapping.
Recent Dyno test, full ritch at 95 RWHP. This is not a modified motor except the 570 kit -ballanced to 1/2 gram the wieght of the stock 500 piston, teflon coated , polished and motor blue printed only. This is to keep it realiable and hours instead of a few laps of riding time. in 90 a 1300 was drafted and I shot past into turn one at over 165 MPH. Been so long can't remeber. But I remeber the ride and the wide eyed look of disbelief!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A finer ride was never had at the low cost of this fine steed. Handling felt like it would turn 180 degrees at top speeds .... if I could hang on that is.................... let's race K!!!!!
