 Well since no one seems to give any advice on which bike I should get from my last post, I did some research and broke my list down to 2 bikes. The 08 R-1, and the 08 GSX-R1000.... Has anyone any feed back on these two machines enough to waiver either direction??? I can't find anything comparing the two besides numbers, and I want to know which one is the better of the two from any road test. All the videos and articles I can find online are from 06 and I know both bikes have made changes since then. Please help!!!

 LOOK MAN YOU HAVE TO FIND OUT WITCH BIKE FITS YOU....ME,I LIKE THE GSXR BETTER THAN THE R1. I HAVE THE 2007 R1 AND THE POWER IS UNPERDICTABLE.THE GSXR HAS THE POWER AND A SMOOTHER THRODLE RESPONSE...

Thanks for the response, but what do you mean about the power being unpredictable? I thought that the fly by wire system was suppose to cut back on throttle response time?? And have you heard any pros or cons on the mode selector for the GSXR? I like the concept of it, but how well does it work?
