RG 150 & NOS

Has anyone had any experience with fitting a NOS kit to a bike. My brother and I are looking at fitting one to his RG150. The engine is not stock, I don't know all the Mods but maybe upped compression, a few bolt on's such as ignition etc and he has had the internals coated with some sort of Teflon type product.
