Two questions. :D

First off, I have to use the school's computer so I won't be able to respond after this until tomorrow. Anyhow,

Question number 1:
I live in alabama and I am now 18 years old. Am I legal to purchase a bike and make payments on it? In Alabama you have to be 19 to sign a legal contract but I've heard that you don't have to be 19 to get a bike. I'm confused..

Question number 2:
The bike I'll get. Since I'm a beginner should I get a Ninja 250 and ride it fir a while or should I look into something a bit bigger that will last me alot longer?  

first off get a co signer until u turn 19. 2nd the 250 is good only b/c its cheap. then when u learn how to b responsible, trade it on a bigger one.with bikes u have 2 b respective of the bike.be careful and understand how much power a bike has.a lot of accidents happen from beginners thinking they can't get hurt.
