im 18 y/o and 6'4 -6'5. ive been riding dirt bikes for about 5 years so im not that new to riding motorcycles. ive been looking at starter street bikes for a while and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions/comments on bikes for a tall rider in the 600cc range. i was looking at the zx-6r(tall seat) and was wondering how that would be w/ my height.

any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

I'm 6'6 on a zx-6r too.   I've rock it stock for a while.  I am told you need to put on some adjustable rearsets to get a more comfortable right.  I am looking at the vortex and sato rearsets right now.

Damn you are tall. Im 6'2 and have a 07 Kawasaki ZZR 600. Basically its i think...the 1998-2000 zx6. Its great! And if would like you could still ride on the back wheel. Of corse, like all 600's it will take a little more rpm.......but has great power gave the r6 a run for his money...getting off track ....the seat is not as high as the zx6r, but in my opinion a shorter seat is more pleasant. And i wanted a more sporty look so i put a 2 inch drop on the back. looks nice, it evens the bike out and stiffens it up through the corners, a little more stiff after you adjust the preload.

hey my name is jarred and i am 5'10 and i'm on a 07 zzr 600... i have only been riding dirt bikes for a couple years, and this was my first bike... I would go with a 750 only because since you kind of know what your doing, you will get bored of the 600... i have only had mine since august and i am already getting bored of it... not enough power
