So. theres alot of talk on the zx for the speeds it is going.is it true that they may be more then a 636 in that motor.just hear them talking out here in texas,thats fast for that bike. .sounds like its fast.who built it.do they work on yamahas.

To bad you couldn't make it to maine.  It was an awesome place to be.  The all motor 636 made a pass of 190.118mph.  Dean went 245 on the turbo ZX-10.  The 190 made us World's Fastest Normally Aspirated bt a long shot.  The surface was ultra smooth.  I'm already thinking about next year there.

I topped out a 2007 Honda CBR600rr with a two brother's slip on and K&N air filters @ 162 mph...i'm assuming high 150's for the 2004 Honda...  

I also have a question for people that know bikes and don't talk out their *** like a lot of people do on youtube.  I purchased the 2009 Yamaha R6 (raven) last week and have over 1,000 miles on it.  I topped it out at 167 mph and would not go any more even after 15 seconds of full throttle.  My 2008 Yamaha R6 (raven) that I had last year topped out over 170 easy.  Some articles say the 09 has 6-8 less wheel horsepower than the 08.  My documents for the 09 say it has 118 hp, but that probably is talking about horsepower at the crank, since many articles say the 09 only has 100 whp compared to the 109.7 that the 08 had.  As I was hitting top speed, I also noticed it took a lot longer to reach 160, but the midrange is slightly improved.  I'm thinking a bone stock 08 R6 would beat a bone stock 09 R6 roll off from 40--165 big time....  

at 50mph its guesstimated that the speedo is off by 5.at 100mph its 10 at 150its about 15, I have a 05 636 the speedo said 172,it should have been off about 15 mph,I also have a 07 ZX-10 i hit 187 and it still felt like i had half the throttle. so i let off.Be careful  1 rock will make eat *** is just what the speedo says not what the actual mph might be.  

Congrats guys, that's freaking fly'n for a 600cc bike...  

I wish I could have made it but bought a house that weekend so maybe next year.  Any news on future events...?

I heard it was a blast by several friends.  Bob went 214mph on a stock motor 08 BUSA and Shane went 265mph....WOW....so conditions were great...
